Anti Bribery

Atlasmex Relocations agrees and commits to:

1. Never engage in any form of bribery, either directly or through any third party.
2. Never offer or make an improper payment, or authorise an improper payment (cash or otherwise) to any individual, including any local or foreign official anywhere in the world.
3. Never attempt to induce an individual, or a local or foreign official to act illegally or improperly.
4. Never offer, or accept, money or anything of value, such as gifts, kickbacks or commissions, in connection with the procurement of business or the award of a contract.
5. Never offer or give any gift or token of hospitality to any public employee or government official or representative if there is any expectation or implication for a return favour.
6. Never accept any gift from any business partner if there is any suggestion that a return favour will be expected or implied.
7. Never facilitate payments to obtain a level of service which one would not normally be entitled to.
8. Never disregard or fail to report any indication of improper payments to the appropriate authorities.
9. Never induce or assist another individual to break any applicable law or regulation.

AtlasMex Relocation Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Charter

At AtlasMex Relocation® and/or ATL Van Lines Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., corruption, bribery, or attempted bribery are unacceptable behaviors.

Leading the fight against corruption

AtlasMex Relocation, together with FIDI, is determined to lead the relocation industry and has taken a firm stand against bribery and corruption. In doing so, AtlasMex Relocation will protect the primary interests of the industry, its associations, and its clients.

Background

This Charter is a statement of commitment designed to strengthen AtlasMex Relocation and its relationships with suppliers.

All AtlasMex Relocation suppliers agree to sign and conduct themselves in accordance with the terms of this Charter. The Charter covers their employees (whether permanent, fixed-term, or temporary) and any associates or third parties providing services or representing their company.

What is bribery? Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting, or soliciting of an advantage as an inducement for an action. It is illegal and constitutes a breach of trust. A bribe is an inducement or reward offered, promised, or provided to gain a commercial, contractual, regulatory, or personal advantage.

AtlasMex Relocation and FIDI zero tolerance on bribery

Corruption, bribery, or attempted bribery are unacceptable behaviors. Offering bribes is just as unacceptable as receiving them, and goes against the core values of AtlasMex Relocation and FIDI, which demand business conduct adhering to the highest legal, moral, and ethical standards.

Bribery and corruption are punishable under various international laws and regulations. These laws frequently require companies to implement rigorous and proactive measures to detect and prevent corrupt practices.

Charter Statement

Commitment by all AtlasMex Relocation suppliers, effective immediately.

All suppliers of AtlasMex Relocation commit to conducting themselves ethically and legally, and shall refrain from any action that could harm the interests of the Company, our clients, or our industry.

AtlasMex Relocation and its suppliers will take all necessary steps to fully inform themselves of applicable regulations and will monitor their employees and business partners to ensure full and continuous compliance.

Legal Compliance

AtlasMex Relocation suppliers must be aware of all anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws applicable in all jurisdictions in which they operate, and shall obey and support these laws.

Laws applying to international activities include not only those of the countries where operations take place, but also extraterritorial regulations such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) or public procurement anti-corruption laws. This legislation affects the international operations of domestic companies as well as the conduct of citizens at home and abroad.

AtlasMex Relocation, as a FIDI-affiliated company, is fully aware of and committed to compliance with all applicable laws.

Anti-Trust Policy (Code of Conduct)

AtlasMex Relocation is committed to:

• Never engaging in direct or indirect contact (through third parties, including agents, suppliers, or clients) with an actual or potential competitor or other third party aimed at participating in cartel behavior.
• Never proposing or entering into an agreement, directly or indirectly, formally or informally, with actual or potential competitors regarding any competition-related issue, including:
  • Price fixing.
  • Market, customer, or territory allocation or sharing.
  • Bid rigging in competitive tender processes.
• Reporting any indication or attempt of improper anti-competitive business conduct by an actual or potential competitor, in accordance with internal reporting procedures, including notifying its legal department and/or relevant antitrust authorities.
• Refraining from participating in trade association meetings where competition-related issues are discussed. If such topics are raised during a meeting, employees must immediately request that the discussion cease; failing that, they must leave the meeting and ask that their departure be recorded in the minutes.
• Ensuring that all internal and external correspondence, including emails, text messages, documents, and public statements, contains no statements that could be misinterpreted by third parties or antitrust authorities in the context of a potential investigation.
• Maintaining independent judgment when setting prices or selling any product and/or service.
• Limiting any information discussed during commercial negotiations, or disclosed to competitors or other third parties, strictly to what is necessary to evaluate or complete the transaction.
